Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro Concept

Audi has unveiled the A1 Clubsport Quattro Concept finally brings Audi's all-wheel-drive Quattro system to the tiny hatchback.

Currently the Audi A1 is only offered in Europe with its power going to the front wheels. Audi is currently working on adding its all-wheel-drive system to the A1, but in the meantime we get a preview of what it could be like with the Clubsport Quattro Concept. The concept is powered by a five-cylinder 2.5L turbocharged engine. The engine is based on the same unit used in the Audi TT RS and RS 3 Sportback models, but with significantly more power in this concept. The TFSI engine puts out 503 horsepower and 487 lb-ft. of torque. Thanks to its small size and the fact that it only weighs just over 3,000 pounds, the concept can reach 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds and its top speed is governed at 155 mph.

To give it an even stronger presence, the concept features front fenders, doors and side panels that have been widened by a total 2.36 inches. The body is painted in a Glacier White matt finish and the roof is painted in a high-gloss black, which is made of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer.
