The Cruze Chevrolet 2011 is a compact sedan with performance, style, practicality and dependability in one taut and handsome package. It replaces the Chevy Cobalt in North America and the Daewoo-built Chevy Lacetti/Nubira in Europe. The new Cruze car has redefined value with a dynamic exterior and interior styling, plus a good list of standard features.
Form outside view, this new Chevys Cruze takes styling cues from the brand new Malibu, and guarantees to be a much sharper car than the current Cobalt. Chief designer Taewan Kim says that the new Cruze’s design is supposed to be “bold”, not evolutionary. We desired to take a giant step ahead, make strong design assertion for Chevrolet products across the world.
The new Cruze 2011 is a four-door sedan that comes in LS, LT, and LTZ trim levels. The LS has a 138-horsepower 1.8-liter 4-cylinder engine. The LT and LTZ have a 140-horsepower turbocharged 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. A 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission is available. All Cruze models will get six-speed gearboxes – either manual or automatic. The turbo Cruze is supposed to score an impressive 40 mpg EPA highway rating.
