The next generation Porsche 911 (known as the 998, but in fact, will be called the ’991’) will make its official debut in 2011. The only problem is, until Porsche helps us out and gives us a sneak peek of the car, we’re going to have to use our imaginations to picture what the car will look like, especially since the cars that are being tested at the moment have been camouflaged. Frustrating, isn’t it?
Despite that, some people won’t let a camouflaged 998 get in the way of their imaginations from going full throttle, as was the case when a member of the TeamSpeed Forums designed a possible rendering of the future 991 based on the camouflaged spy shots we’ve been seeing. Unfortunately, the rendering he made looks a lot like the current 997.
However, compared to the 997, the 998’s front lights are standing more upright and the side mirrors have moved from the side window corner to the side of the door.
